Why go private

More room to learn your way

A private session removes the pressure to keep pace with a group. The coaching can stay focused on your comfort, questions, and next useful step.

Start where you are

New surfers can take time with the basics. Returning surfers can focus on the parts that still feel inconsistent.

Ask in the moment

With one student, it is easier to pause, reset, and get direct feedback while the experience is fresh.

Book directly

Contact Hella by text, Instagram, or email. You will confirm timing and details together.

Who a private lesson fits

Private coaching is a strong fit when this is your first time surfing, when you prefer individual instruction, or when you already have some experience and want focused feedback. It can also make the day simpler when one person in a group wants a different pace.

You do not need to choose a technical goal before booking. Share your experience honestly and tell Hella what would make the session feel successful to you.

What the lesson covers

Your session starts on the sand with pop-up practice before entering the water. In the water, Hella coaches surf etiquette, water safety, and simple assists to help students into their first waves.
