Meet Hella at Moku Surf on Koa Avenue. Each student chooses a board suited to their height and weight, then the group walks about one block together to Waikiki Beach.
The lesson begins with pop-up practice on the sand. Hella covers surf etiquette and water safety before moving into the water for coaching and simple assists into the first waves.
